GRINIF REAL PEARL CELLULOSE FACIAL MASK (Brightening)

Hello, this time, i’ll give my opinion about one of the most fave skincare item for me, which is mask or sheet mask from cellulose. 

Before i start reviewing the item, i wanna say thank you to www.skin18.com for sending me this  cute pink mask for free as a giveaway. It was sent from HK and it arrived in a week to my home in Indonesia. So, i can say that it’s kinda fast shipping. And i’m so happy and excited to try it. 

Well, i forget to mention the name of the sheet mask given by skin18 earlier. And the mask is ....... grinif real pearl cellulose facial mask. 

I got 2 masks from skin18 and i’ve tried it. So, i wanna give my opinion about the mask. 

1st impression

First of all, this is my first cellulose mask and i’m a bit confused by the texture and it was a bit confusing when i open it. There’s a plastic layers to cover the  real mask because the mask itself is super thin. But the good thing is the mask is really really rich in essences, thus the mask size is 30 gr and it’s bigger than  the usual sheet mask which is 23 to 25 ml. So, no wonder if there are lots of  essences in this mask.

Back to the material of the mask which is cellulose. Cellulose is an eco- friendly material and it’s claimed to have a better attachment ability to your  face, compared to cotton mask. And it can hold much longer moisturizer on  your skin for longtime. It’s also approved by KFDA so it’s a good thing for me and it’s for all skin type. 

Based on what i’ve experienced, the claims is true. It attached well on my face and it had very very much of moisturizer in mask. I put it on my face for like  20 minutes and as the time goes by, it attached more perfectly to my face,  which is a good thing. But the bad thing is that the mask doesn’t fit my face so it’s quite hard for me to adjust the mask to my face. It doesn’t really cover all my face, like my nose. And it’s so slippery at first. I have to adjust the position of the mask several times. 

The other downside point of the mask is that it has a stickiness effect on it. And i’m not really fond about this fact. After using the mask, my face felt so hydrated and sticky at the same time. And the stickiness is gone after i wash my face the next morning.  

2nd claims

This mask contains pearl ampoule in it and it has a brightening function. The other claims of this mask are : grant elasticity, skin moisturizing, skin soothing, anti wrinkle, blemish clearing, firming, good to be used for dry skin, dull skin and skin that lost elastic. 

I have to say that the brightening effect is REAL!!!! After using the mask, i really feel that my face looks more bright. And even the next morning, after i wake up, my face feel even better. It’s looks glowy and shiney. And i really love it.

In terms of blemish clearing, i can’t really say a lot about this, but i have a redness from my pimple and it doesn’t go away yet.  After a couple of days, i think my redness gets better. And for the firming function, i prefer my canola honey recipe pack. I think it does a better job for firming my skin. 

3rd final thought 

Last but not least, i just wanna say that the pearl ampoule does really work to brighten my skin and it’s really recommended to those who have dull skin and skin that lost its elasticity because i feel like it will work for the skin with that  issue. 

But i’m not really happy with the stickiness of the mask, so, i’m prefer to try another type of mask next time. I wish to try a sheet mask that has a couple of steps in it because i see that type of mask on my beauty blogger video review or  try the whamisa organic mask. That’s on my wish list for now.
