KLORANE Strengthening & Revitalizing Shampoo with Quinine & B Vitamins 200ml

Kali ini saya akan mereview suatu produk perawatan rambut dari KLORANE, yaitu berupa Shampoo.

KLORANE adalah suatu brand yang berasal dari Prancis. Berdasarkan informasi di kemasannya, KLORANE sudah ada selama 50 tahun dan brand KLORANE berusaha membuat produk yang diturunkan dari bahan - bahan alami yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penggunanya. Selain itu, brand KLORANE juga berusaha untuk membuat produk secara responsible atau bertanggungjawab terkait keberlangsungan dan pembuatan produk ini terhadap planet Bumi.  

Brand KLORANE menggunakan botol plastik yang 50% bahannya terbuat dari plastik daur ulang. Selain itu, brand KLORANE dibuat dengan bahan - bahan yang sudah tersertifikasi oleh EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management).

Oleh sebab itu, saya sangat tertarik untuk mencoba produk ini setelah melihat produk ini melalui aplikasi SOCO by Sociolla.

Brand KLORANE memiliki banyak variant shampoo dan konditioner yang bisa dipilih sesuai dengan kondisi/kebutuhan pengguna.

Karena saya memiliki masalah rambut rontok dan tipis, oleh sebab itu saya memutuskan untuk mencoba variant KLORANE Strengthening & Revitalizing Shampoo with Quinine & B Vitamins yang diformulasikan untuk mengatasi masalah rambut rontok dan tipis.

 

Adapun variant yang saya gunakan, bahan - bahan nya terdiri dari :

WATER (AQUA), SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, COCAMIDE MIPA, LAURYL BETAINE, ALCOHOL, BIOTIN, BLUE 1 (CI 42090), CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, CARAMEL, CINCHONA CALISAYA BARK EXTRACT, DISODIUM EDTA, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM), GLYCERIN, PANTHENOL, PANTOLACTONE, PHENOXYETHANOL, POLYQUATERNIUM-22, PYRIDOXINE HCL, RED 33 (CI 17200), SODIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, TRIETHANOLAMINE*

Setelah mencoba produk ini selama sekitar 3 bulan, so berikut penilaian saya terkait produk shampoo dari brand KLORANE berdasarkan pengalaman saya.

 

1) Packaging

Produk dari brand KLORANE ini memiliki kemasan yang minimalis nan elegan. Di kemasan luar (kardus)  dicantumkan berbagai informasi penting seputar produk, misalnya ingredients list, fungsi dari produk ini serta pengenalan/informasi terkait brand KLORANE bisa dilihat di packaging nya.

Sedangkan untuk kemasan shampoo nya sendiri, seperti yang sudah disebutkan sebelumnya - terbuat dari 50% plastik daur ulang- yang datang dengan sedikit label informasi di bagian depan. Tampilannya minimalis dan transparan, jadi bisa melihat isi produk secara langsung. Dan untuk variant ini, shampoo nya berwarna merah yang cukup menarik.

  

2) Claims

Variant KLORANE Strengthening & Revitalizing Shampoo with Quinine & B Vitamins ini diformulasikan untuk membantu perawatan rambut menipis dan rontok sebab produk ini dapat memicu pertumbuhan rambut berkat Quinine dan Vitamin B yang terdapat dalam produk ini. Quinine merupakan suatu tanaman yang berasal dari Amerika Selatan yang sering digunakan sebagai penguat dan peremajaan rambut oleh masyarakat sekitar. Oleh sebab itu, penggunaan Quinine dan Vitamin B dalam produk KLORANE ini diklaim dapat pula mengembalikan kekuatan rambut agar tidak mudah rontok.

 

3) Result / Verdict

Well, berdasarkan pengalaman saya selama menggunakan produk ini selama sekitar 3 bulan dengan durasi penggunaan maksimal 2x seminggu, saya cukup suka dengan hasil yang ditunjukkan dari produk ini.

 

Hal yang paling saya sukai adalah formulasi produk ini. Tekturnya cukup konsentrat, sehingga mudah untuk diaplikasikan ke rambut. Selain itu, busa yang dihasilkan pun tidak terlalu berlimpah dan ini adalah hal yang saya sukai. Selain formulasinya produk, wangi yang dimiliki oleh variant ini pun sangat menyegarkan dan menenangkan. Saya selalu suka wangi nya, meskipun tidak bertahan selama berhari - hari, tapi wanginya sangat segar dan membuat bersemangat.

 

Adapun jika dilihat berdasarkan hasil/fungsi sesuai dengan klaim produk yang ditulis dalam kemasan, saya setuju dengan klaim bahwa produk ini dapat memacu pertumbuhan rambut. Saya bisa melihat rambut saya sudah kembali bertumbuh dan semakin lembut.

 

Terkait klaim mengatasi kerontokan, saya rasa masih perlu waktu untuk mengatasinya. Rambut saya memiliki masalah kerontokan yang cukup parah, so I don’t expect the product to miraculously solve the problem. Saat ini kerontokan masih saya alami, tapi saya rasa ada improvement, meskipun tidak secara total menghilang. Karena produknya pun juga masih banyak, jadi saya akan menggunakan dulu hingga habis, baru kemudian memutuskan apakah ini bisa membantu mengatasi masalah rambut rontok yang saya alami atau tidak.

   

4) Conclusion

So, last but not least, I can say that I love this product from brand KLORANE. I will give it 4.5 out of 5 for now. Let’s see after I finish the product whether I’m gonna repurchase or not. Or maybe I will give another variant a try :)

[Beauty Review] - My Second SOCOBOX

Semoga selalu dalam keadaan sehat yaaaa.

 

Kali ini, saya ingin membagikan pengalaman saya tentang beberapa produk kecantikan dari L’Oréal Paris dari seri REVITALIFT. Saya mempunyai 3 produk dari seri ini, yaitu : REVITALIFT 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum, REVITALIFT Crystal Micro-Essence Treatment Mask, dan REVITALIFT Pro-Youth Face Mask. 

Let’s start from the serum.

 

1. REVITALIFT 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Serum dari L’Oréal Paris ini datang dalam bentuk botol kaca dengan volume sebanyak 30ml. Dari segi tekstur, serum ini memiliki tekstur watery agak concentrate yaa. Teksturnya ringan dan cepat menyerap di wajah. Di bagian belakang ada tulisan “Use daily before your moisturizer/ avoid eye contours”, jadi saya rasa serum ini bisa digunakan untuk pagi dan malam hari.

Kalau saya pribadi, lebih sering menggunakannya di malam hari.

Produk ini sendiri memiliki klaim sebagai serum dengan kandungan Hyaluronic Acid tertinggi (dibandingkan seri Revitalift lainnya), yang dapat melembapkan untuk kulit terasa elastis dan tampak lebih muda.

Produk ini memiliki 2 tipe Hyaluronic, yakni Micro dan Macro seebagai element yang dapat menjaga elastisitas dan kelembapan kulit, sehingga penggunanya bisa terlihat lebih muda (dengan minimal pemakaian selama 2 minggu).

Sebagai informasi, saya telah menggunakan produk ini selama hampir 2 minggu sesuai dengan instruksi di box, dan saya rasa produk ini cukup memberikan hasil yang impressive. Dalam sekali pemakaian pun, saya sudah merasa bahwa, setelah menggunakan serum ini, kulit saya terasa plump (lebih ketarik/terangkat dalam arti yang baik :D) dan juga wajah saya memang terasa semakin halus dan bercahaya :D.

Saya suka dengan hasilnya.

Selain itu, efek yang saya senangi setelah menggunakan serum ini adalah minyak di wajah saya menjadi lebih terkontrol. Kadang - kadang, di pagi hari, muka saya cendrung berminyak. Akan tetapi, selama saya menggunakan serum ini, wajah saya tidak terlihat berminyak saat bangun pagi dan tampak lebih segar. Produk ini juga tidak memiliki wangi yang kuat. So,  bagi yang tidak suka dengan wewangian di produk perawatan kulit. Kesimpullannya, untuk klaim melembapkan dan membuat kulit menjadi elastis, hal tersebut terbukti di kulit saya.

Tidak ada produk yang 100% sempurna dan begitupun dengan produk ini. Ada hal yang saya rasa bisa di-improve dari produk ini, yaitu di bagian product designnya, khususnya di pipet aplikatornya. Menurut saya pipetnya memiliki tekstur kaku sehingga produk yang terambil, memiliki kuantitas yang tidak terlalu banyak. Secara pribadi, saya lebih suka pipet yang lebih elastis, jadi lebih nyaman digunakan.

Overall, saya merasa puas menggunakan produk ini. Dan memberikan 4.2 dari 5 bintang untuk produk ini. Apakah akan repurchase? Maybe. Tergantung kebutuhan dan lihat nanti setelah saya selesai menggunakan serum ini sampai habis yaa.  

 

2. REVITALIFT Crystal Micro-Essence Treatment Mask

Produk selanjutnya yang akan saya bahas adalah berupa masker wajah berjenis cushion tissue mask dari L’Oréal Paris yang berasal dari seri REVITALIFT Crystal.

Masker ini memiliki klaim bisa mengubah wajah menjadi lebih terhidrasi, lebih halus, dan lebih baik teksturnya hanya dalam 15 menit. Selain itu, efek cerah, elastis dan halus yang didapat juga bisa bertahan sampai selama 48jam! Klaim yang cukup menarik untuk sebuah masker.

Secara pribadi, saya rasa klaim dari produk ini memang dapat dibuktikan dari hasil yang diberikan. Setelah menggunakan masker ini, kulit saya memang menjadi ebih cerah, halus, dan elastis. Meskipun untuk klaim 48 jamnya saya rasa hal tersebut tergantung kondisi masing - masing.

Menurut saya, masker ini cocok digunakan sebelum ada acara agar esoknya bisa terlihat fresh. Essence yang ada di masker ini cukup banyak seperti tagline nya, “the power of 1 essence bottle in 1 mask.”

Saya suka dengan masker ini. Menurut saya, it deserves 4.5 out of 5.  

 

3. REVITALIFT Pro-Youth Face Mask

Selanjutnya, saya akan membahas satu masker wajah lagi dari L’Oréal Paris, yang berasal dari seri REVITALIFT, namanya adalah Pro-Youth Face Mask. Masker ini mengklaim memiliki efek skin plumping + anti aging.

Kandungan yang digunakan dan di-highlight dalam serum ini, yaitu Hyaluronic acid dan Damask Rose. Hyaluronic acid berperan untuk membuat kulit menjadi lembap dan juga halus. Sedangkan Damask Rose digunakan untuk memberi hidrasi dan menenangkan kulit, hingga bisa membuat wajah terlihat bersinar secara alami.

Masker ini memiliki 2 lapisan ketika dibuka, yaitu lapisan luar yang berwarna biru dan lapisan dalam yang sangat tipis (hanya setebal 0.3mm saja). Dengan kandungan essence yang SUPER DUPER berlimpah. Essence nya sangat banyak sampai2 luber di wajah ketika digunakan. Saya rasa akan lebih baik jika antara essence dan maskernya dipisah agar kandungan essence yang digunakan dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan besarnya wajah pengguna. Sehingga kenyamanan ketika maskeran bisa lebih dirasakan pengguna, khususnya untuk wajah kecil seperti saya, essence nya sampai masuk ke mata ketika menggunakannya dan itu agak kurang nyaman bagi saya.

Untuk maskernya sendiri memiliki wangi Damask Rose yang menenangkan dan tidak terlalu strong, dan saya suka wanginya. Maskernya pun tipis sehingga nyaman saat digunakan, akan tetapi bagian mata nya kurang fit di wajah saya (tidak tahu mengapa ini terjadi :<). Bukan hal yang terlalu bermasalah tapi sedikit mengganggu kenyamanan bermasker hehhehe ….

Overall, saya suka sekali dengan hasil setelah menggunakan masker ini. Wajah saya benar-benar terasa plump dan bersinar, kerutan halus lebih tersamarkan dan efek ini berlangsung selama beberapa hari. Kalau menurut packagingnya efek ini bisa berlangsung hingga 48jam. Secara pribadi, saya rasa efeknya berlangsung sedikit lebih lama di saya. I’m really happy with the result :D

Story - Win a Giveaway from Kak Affi Assegaf

I got this after been participated in a survey in Instagram. I filled out the questioner and i was announced to be one of the winner for Non-Sensitive Skin Type Person (yeay!)

And then, after a couple of days, the package arrived. (W.O.W. I was so excited). I received a pretty box with these stuffs inside.

There was 4 beauty items in the box. And they are from a pretty well-known brand, so i was a bit surprised (and SUPER HAPPY of course!).

I can say that the lesson-learned from this giveaway thing is when an opportunity comes, grab it. At least, give it a try first. You will never get the result unless you have tried. Even if you fail, you'll learn something from that. (FYI : I've been participated in so many giveaways and sometimes i got a good result, sometimes i don't). 

This principle can be applied to all sectors in life, because we'll never know what about to happen in life. We can't always get what we want, but we can always learn from it. That's why we call it 'experience'. 

Regarding the swatch/the review of the products here, i might post about it on my social media or here. I can't promise you anything yet. But i'm so grateful for this.

Wardah Seaweed Cleansing Micellar Water

I'm back with another cleanser review :D

I hope you won't be bored about that.

Cleansing is actually one of the best MUST-DO steps to maintain the beauty because our skin must be cleansed after putting on make up in order to clean all the make up residue and to keep our skin looks good.
I personally think that cleansing step is VERY important.

That's one of the reason why i've tried and used lots of cleanser type.

So now, i'll give my opinion about a local brand product. This my be my first time reviewing the local, so i'm pretty excited about it.

After i start the review, i'll say thanks first to Sociolla who gave me this product for free when i shopped there.
This isn't my first cleansing water that i used, but in terms of micellar water, i could say that this is the first micellar water that i used so far.

So here we go.

Front side

#1 Packaging

First of all, we'll talk about the product packaging and it feels okay. There's nothing so special about it, but it's not bad. This is a cup bottle type. You need to open the cap to get out of the product and put it on the cotton pad. It has 100 ml volume and i think you can use it for a couple of month if you don't use it often (FYI : I've been using it for around 2.5 months and there are sooooo much left because i don't use the product regularly).











#2 Claims
This product claims are :
1. No need to wash it off
2/ Cleanse of make up and face
3. Multi action formula + Bio Cleansing Active

Regarding all of the claims, i have to say that i pretty like the product. I use it as make up remover or first cleanser sometimes (i don't just use it because i do love the double-cleansing thing). So i always use another cleanser after this. But this product works pretty well for me, it doesn't cause any breakout eventho' i use it consecutively. I sometimes have breakout if i use a cleanser for a couple of time. But this one works good for my skin, eventho' i'm not sure it really cleanse all the make up and sunscreen thing.

This product has balancing seaweed and cucumber extract in it. It's said that those ingredients could help to maintain and keeps the normal skin condition. And this product claims to work for ALL skin type thanks to the bio cleansing active formula.
So you do't need to worry about using it if you have acne prone, sensitive or combination skin type
(Mine  is dry combination type).

#3 Ingredients
There aren't much ingredients on the list of this product. They are :

Aqua, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric, Grycerides, Propanediol, Biosaccharide, Gum-2, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Propylene Glycol, Panthenol, Cetrimonium Bromide, Disodium EDTA, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract, Ulva Lactuca Extract, Glycerin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

You'd better check the list before buying in order to make sure there are no things that would make you breakout or allergic. 

#4 The Verdict

After using this product for a couple of months, i think i like the product. It works well as make up remover and it doesn't break me out (FYI : I'm not a bold make up user, I only use BB Cream, Moisturiser and Sunscreen daily). I might repurchase it later because ir's pretty travel-friendly and gentle to use. It's also has "dermatologically-tested" words written on the packaging. I'm pretty happy with the quality of the product eventho' i'm not using it the way it is (no wash off). 

I think this product is perfect for those who look for a budget cleanser with a nice quality. So, if you in search of a micellar water, you can consider buying this product. 

Wardah is an Indonesian brand that has a variety of ranges and i think they have a couple of best seller product on the store. Wardah is also a drugstore brand, so it's easy to find. 

So last but not least, i wanna say you must try the local brand sometimes because our local brand is pretty well-improved now. I personally really want to appreciate the effort and the development of our local brand and product. Hope there will be a lot more local products on the store with the good quality to use.

Chica Y Chico Skin Texture Toner VS J.ONE Moisturizing Beauty Water

I’m back with another products review.

This time I’ll review/compare two toners that I’ve been using for a couple of months.

#1 Chica Y Chico Texture Skin Toner

This toner is a water type toner that feels so lightweight.

It’s said :

“Skin texture toner hydrates the rough skin and give more elasticity with sliding water complex so that your skin looks even and moist. And it removes the excess sebum and waste deep inside clear up the dry flaky dead skin cells without irritation. Your skin becomes smoother and clearer with this toner”

This toner works super good on my skin and it does moisturize and give hydration to my skin. After using the toner, my face looks clearer and feels so clean. It doesn’t have any scent. The texture is 100% watery. I think this is a perfect toner to use if you want to do the 7 times toner layering method that is so popular in Korea these days.

The toner comes in a quite big bottle (the volume is 200ml and I think the price is not that expensive). And the ingredients is pretty good ( I can’t find the harmful ingredients on the list).

#2 J.ONE Moisturizing Beauty Water

This one comes in smaller bottle (140ml, the same price with the chica y chico)

This one claims to be re-hydrating and comforting toner for all skin type.

Actually, I’ve never heard of this toner from J.ONE line because the jelly pack seems to be the most well-known product from J.ONE.

But I decided to buy this toner and it works pretty good tho’.

This J.ONE toner has more concentrated texture compared to the Chica Y Chico. I must say that I prefer the watery texture by CyC, but this one is not bad either.

You can use the toner by using cotton pad or put it on your hands. It also perfect to be used as the 7 skin method toner. But it does have a quite strong scent, but it goes away after application. But watch out if you’re sensitive to fragrance.

Here are the summary of these two :

Chica Y Chico   

- watery 

- has no scent

- hydrates the skin well 

- smoothen the skin

- affordable  

J.ONE

- more concentrated texture

- has a quite strong scent

- drier than the CyC

So, i'm gonna say that both toners are great to use for the 7 skin method toner and they are quite moisturizing, but i have to say that i love CyC toner more.

Body Lotion Review

It’s been longtime since the last time I write a review here and I’m back!!!!

This time, I’ll be reviewing an Indonesian brand body lotion, named eternaleaf. It’s a body lotion made from pandanus conoideus (in the description it’s written ‘made with pure Red Papua fruit for naturally moisturized skin’)

I feel in love with the packaging of the product since the first time I saw it. It has orange and white colour on the flip flop bottle. It contains 250ml of the product inside and it claims to be ‘paraben free’, ‘parafin free’, ‘alcohol free’, ‘silicon free’, ‘not tested on animals’, ‘promote sustainable harvesting’, ‘100% vegetarian’, ‘supports proudly papua foundation’ (50% of your purchase will be given to build a better Papua)

Well, let’s start the review.

#1 Packaging

At the first sight, I like the packaging of the product. But after been using the product for a couple of months, I’m not happy with the flip flop bottle type, especially the aluminium or metal side of the bottle. It hurts my finger sometimes when I apply the product. I think it’s quite dangerous for some reason and hope the material will be changed in the future for its safety.

I also don’t like the flip flop bottle because I can’t get the right amount of the product. It happens to give a lot of the product sometimes, and some other time, it’s quite hard to get the product come off the bottle. You have to put down the bottle first to make the product come out.

Other than that, I feel happy with the simplicity of the product and the description of the product on it.

#2 Application

I’m happy with the product because it really makes my skin feel so moisturized and soft after using it. I just hope it contains some kind of ‘UV/SPF’ thing to block the sun damage (because I’m not sure if the product has this kind of thing in it. There’s no titanium dioxide or zinc dioxide like other body lotion).

The texture is like the other body lotion. It has a creamy body lotion type, if you know what I mean. And I think it does what it claims to be , which is to moisturize and to restore the dull and dry skin. It doesn’t have annoying scent for me. The good thing is it works well for my skin.

GRINIF REAL PEARL CELLULOSE FACIAL MASK (Brightening)

Hello, this time, i’ll give my opinion about one of the most fave skincare item for me, which is mask or sheet mask from cellulose. 

Before i start reviewing the item, i wanna say thank you to www.skin18.com for sending me this  cute pink mask for free as a giveaway. It was sent from HK and it arrived in a week to my home in Indonesia. So, i can say that it’s kinda fast shipping. And i’m so happy and excited to try it. 

Well, i forget to mention the name of the sheet mask given by skin18 earlier. And the mask is ....... grinif real pearl cellulose facial mask. 

I got 2 masks from skin18 and i’ve tried it. So, i wanna give my opinion about the mask. 

1st impression

First of all, this is my first cellulose mask and i’m a bit confused by the texture and it was a bit confusing when i open it. There’s a plastic layers to cover the  real mask because the mask itself is super thin. But the good thing is the mask is really really rich in essences, thus the mask size is 30 gr and it’s bigger than  the usual sheet mask which is 23 to 25 ml. So, no wonder if there are lots of  essences in this mask.

Right After using mask 

Back to the material of the mask which is cellulose. Cellulose is an eco- friendly material and it’s claimed to have a better attachment ability to your  face, compared to cotton mask. And it can hold much longer moisturizer on  your skin for longtime. It’s also approved by KFDA so it’s a good thing for me and it’s for all skin type. 

Based on what i’ve experienced, the claims is true. It attached well on my face and it had very very much of moisturizer in mask. I put it on my face for like  20 minutes and as the time goes by, it attached more perfectly to my face,  which is a good thing. But the bad thing is that the mask doesn’t fit my face so it’s quite hard for me to adjust the mask to my face. It doesn’t really cover all my face, like my nose. And it’s so slippery at first. I have to adjust the position of the mask several times. 

The other downside point of the mask is that it has a stickiness effect on it. And i’m not really fond about this fact. After using the mask, my face felt so hydrated and sticky at the same time. And the stickiness is gone after i wash my face the next morning.  

2nd claims

This mask contains pearl ampoule in it and it has a brightening function. The other claims of this mask are : grant elasticity, skin moisturizing, skin soothing, anti wrinkle, blemish clearing, firming, good to be used for dry skin, dull skin and skin that lost elastic. 

I have to say that the brightening effect is REAL!!!! After using the mask, i really feel that my face looks more bright. And even the next morning, after i wake up, my face feel even better. It’s looks glowy and shiney. And i really love it.

In terms of blemish clearing, i can’t really say a lot about this, but i have a redness from my pimple and it doesn’t go away yet.  After a couple of days, i think my redness gets better. And for the firming function, i prefer my canola honey recipe pack. I think it does a better job for firming my skin. 

3rd final thought 

Last but not least, i just wanna say that the pearl ampoule does really work to brighten my skin and it’s really recommended to those who have dull skin and skin that lost its elasticity because i feel like it will work for the skin with that  issue. 

But i’m not really happy with the stickiness of the mask, so, i’m prefer to try another type of mask next time. I wish to try a sheet mask that has a couple of steps in it because i see that type of mask on my beauty blogger video review or  try the whamisa organic mask. That’s on my wish list for now.
