Product Review - COSRX Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

Hello guys,

It's been longtime since my last update and i'm sorry for that. This time, i want to update my cleanser thing.
I got this product from Sociolla The cleanser come with a beautiful box with the sample of COSRX Pne Step Original Clear Pad (yeayy.. So happy for that :D)

I want to thank Sociolla for sending me this.
So first of all, let's talk about the packaging.

#1 Packaging
This product comes in a tube and it has 150ml of volume. I think it's pretty much for 2 or 3 moths ( i haven't finished using it). The tube is so simple and minimalist. I pretty like its simplicity. Now, let's talk about the texture

#2 Texture
It has a very light and transparent gel texture. And it doesn't have any strong or disturbing scent. I love the texture so much. But because of the lightweight texture, i think this product isn't able to clean the heavy duty makeup, like the super waterproof mascara thing. So, i think you need an oil based cleanser to remove the super strong makeup and you can use this cleanser as the second cleanser.

#3 Review of The Product
I love using it a lot. Day or night. Even though the name is "Good Morning ...", but for me, t use it twice a day and haven't found any trouble. I love its texture. And because i don't really use a heavy make up, so i usually use it after removing makeup with micellar water. So far, i love using the product and have any problem with it.

Last but not least, i give this product 4.5 out of 5 stars.


I like using it, but i don't know if i want to repurchase or not because i still want to try another cleanser. But this one is so good for any skin type (fyi, my skintype is Combo-Dry type. You can check my skin concern in SOCO

Chica Y Chico Skin Texture Toner VS J.ONE Moisturizing Beauty Water

I’m back with another products review.

This time I’ll review/compare two toners that I’ve been using for a couple of months.

#1 Chica Y Chico Texture Skin Toner

This toner is a water type toner that feels so lightweight.

It’s said :

“Skin texture toner hydrates the rough skin and give more elasticity with sliding water complex so that your skin looks even and moist. And it removes the excess sebum and waste deep inside clear up the dry flaky dead skin cells without irritation. Your skin becomes smoother and clearer with this toner”

This toner works super good on my skin and it does moisturize and give hydration to my skin. After using the toner, my face looks clearer and feels so clean. It doesn’t have any scent. The texture is 100% watery. I think this is a perfect toner to use if you want to do the 7 times toner layering method that is so popular in Korea these days.

The toner comes in a quite big bottle (the volume is 200ml and I think the price is not that expensive). And the ingredients is pretty good ( I can’t find the harmful ingredients on the list).

#2 J.ONE Moisturizing Beauty Water

This one comes in smaller bottle (140ml, the same price with the chica y chico)

This one claims to be re-hydrating and comforting toner for all skin type.

Actually, I’ve never heard of this toner from J.ONE line because the jelly pack seems to be the most well-known product from J.ONE.

But I decided to buy this toner and it works pretty good tho’.

This J.ONE toner has more concentrated texture compared to the Chica Y Chico. I must say that I prefer the watery texture by CyC, but this one is not bad either.

You can use the toner by using cotton pad or put it on your hands. It also perfect to be used as the 7 skin method toner. But it does have a quite strong scent, but it goes away after application. But watch out if you’re sensitive to fragrance.

Here are the summary of these two :

Chica Y Chico   

- watery 

- has no scent

- hydrates the skin well 

- smoothen the skin

- affordable  

J.ONE

- more concentrated texture

- has a quite strong scent

- drier than the CyC

So, i'm gonna say that both toners are great to use for the 7 skin method toner and they are quite moisturizing, but i have to say that i love CyC toner more.

Body Lotion Review

It’s been longtime since the last time I write a review here and I’m back!!!!

This time, I’ll be reviewing an Indonesian brand body lotion, named eternaleaf. It’s a body lotion made from pandanus conoideus (in the description it’s written ‘made with pure Red Papua fruit for naturally moisturized skin’)

I feel in love with the packaging of the product since the first time I saw it. It has orange and white colour on the flip flop bottle. It contains 250ml of the product inside and it claims to be ‘paraben free’, ‘parafin free’, ‘alcohol free’, ‘silicon free’, ‘not tested on animals’, ‘promote sustainable harvesting’, ‘100% vegetarian’, ‘supports proudly papua foundation’ (50% of your purchase will be given to build a better Papua)

Well, let’s start the review.

#1 Packaging

At the first sight, I like the packaging of the product. But after been using the product for a couple of months, I’m not happy with the flip flop bottle type, especially the aluminium or metal side of the bottle. It hurts my finger sometimes when I apply the product. I think it’s quite dangerous for some reason and hope the material will be changed in the future for its safety.

I also don’t like the flip flop bottle because I can’t get the right amount of the product. It happens to give a lot of the product sometimes, and some other time, it’s quite hard to get the product come off the bottle. You have to put down the bottle first to make the product come out.

Other than that, I feel happy with the simplicity of the product and the description of the product on it.

#2 Application

I’m happy with the product because it really makes my skin feel so moisturized and soft after using it. I just hope it contains some kind of ‘UV/SPF’ thing to block the sun damage (because I’m not sure if the product has this kind of thing in it. There’s no titanium dioxide or zinc dioxide like other body lotion).

The texture is like the other body lotion. It has a creamy body lotion type, if you know what I mean. And I think it does what it claims to be , which is to moisturize and to restore the dull and dry skin. It doesn’t have annoying scent for me. The good thing is it works well for my skin.

GRINIF REAL PEARL CELLULOSE FACIAL MASK (Brightening)

Hello, this time, i’ll give my opinion about one of the most fave skincare item for me, which is mask or sheet mask from cellulose. 

Before i start reviewing the item, i wanna say thank you to www.skin18.com for sending me this  cute pink mask for free as a giveaway. It was sent from HK and it arrived in a week to my home in Indonesia. So, i can say that it’s kinda fast shipping. And i’m so happy and excited to try it. 

Well, i forget to mention the name of the sheet mask given by skin18 earlier. And the mask is ....... grinif real pearl cellulose facial mask. 

I got 2 masks from skin18 and i’ve tried it. So, i wanna give my opinion about the mask. 

1st impression

First of all, this is my first cellulose mask and i’m a bit confused by the texture and it was a bit confusing when i open it. There’s a plastic layers to cover the  real mask because the mask itself is super thin. But the good thing is the mask is really really rich in essences, thus the mask size is 30 gr and it’s bigger than  the usual sheet mask which is 23 to 25 ml. So, no wonder if there are lots of  essences in this mask.

Back to the material of the mask which is cellulose. Cellulose is an eco- friendly material and it’s claimed to have a better attachment ability to your  face, compared to cotton mask. And it can hold much longer moisturizer on  your skin for longtime. It’s also approved by KFDA so it’s a good thing for me and it’s for all skin type. 

Based on what i’ve experienced, the claims is true. It attached well on my face and it had very very much of moisturizer in mask. I put it on my face for like  20 minutes and as the time goes by, it attached more perfectly to my face,  which is a good thing. But the bad thing is that the mask doesn’t fit my face so it’s quite hard for me to adjust the mask to my face. It doesn’t really cover all my face, like my nose. And it’s so slippery at first. I have to adjust the position of the mask several times. 

The other downside point of the mask is that it has a stickiness effect on it. And i’m not really fond about this fact. After using the mask, my face felt so hydrated and sticky at the same time. And the stickiness is gone after i wash my face the next morning.  

2nd claims

This mask contains pearl ampoule in it and it has a brightening function. The other claims of this mask are : grant elasticity, skin moisturizing, skin soothing, anti wrinkle, blemish clearing, firming, good to be used for dry skin, dull skin and skin that lost elastic. 

I have to say that the brightening effect is REAL!!!! After using the mask, i really feel that my face looks more bright. And even the next morning, after i wake up, my face feel even better. It’s looks glowy and shiney. And i really love it.

In terms of blemish clearing, i can’t really say a lot about this, but i have a redness from my pimple and it doesn’t go away yet.  After a couple of days, i think my redness gets better. And for the firming function, i prefer my canola honey recipe pack. I think it does a better job for firming my skin. 

3rd final thought 

Last but not least, i just wanna say that the pearl ampoule does really work to brighten my skin and it’s really recommended to those who have dull skin and skin that lost its elasticity because i feel like it will work for the skin with that  issue. 

But i’m not really happy with the stickiness of the mask, so, i’m prefer to try another type of mask next time. I wish to try a sheet mask that has a couple of steps in it because i see that type of mask on my beauty blogger video review or  try the whamisa organic mask. That’s on my wish list for now.

Ardente body triple wash is a liquid soap from 1004Laboratory. It’s a Korean brand that claims themselves as an organic-based product. Well, they do not test their product on animal (which is great J) and they also have two ISO, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, in addition, this product has passed the skin irritation test. It supposes to work for all skin type.

Ardente body triple wash merupakan produk sabun cair yang diproduksi oleh 1004Laboratory. 1004Laboratory ini adalah merk dari Korea yang mengklaim (di produk ini) sebagai produk yang berbahan organik. Di kotaknya tertulis bahwa produk ini tidak melakukan uji coba terhadap hewan, mereka juga memperoleh 2 macam ISO, yaitu ISO 9001 dan ISO 14001. Sebagai tambahan, produk ini juga telah melalui uji iritasi kulit. Artinya, produk ini seharusnya tidak menyebabkan iritasi kulit, khususnya untuk orang yang memiliki kulit sensitive. Produk ini dikatakan cocok untuk semua jenis kulit.

And fyi, they have USDA organic certificate. And it’s said (on the package) that it has 6 layers moist system. So, it’s supposed to be super moisturizing (i’ll tell you about this claim later). The other information from the package is that this product is free from 20 harmful ingredients, such as SLS, SLES, PEG, Parabean, Phenoxyethanol, TEA, BHT, mineral oil, etc.

Sebagai info,  merka memiliki sertifikat organik dari USDA (United States Drug Administrator). Dikatakan (di box nya) nahwa produk ini memiliki 6 sistem lapisan pelembut. Sehingga, produk iniseharusnya menjadi produk yang sangat melembabkan. Informasi lain yang dapat diperoleh dari box nyam yakni bahwa produk ini bebas dari 20 macam bahan berbahaya, seperti SLS, SLES, PEG, Parabean, Phenoxyethanol, TEA, BHT, mineral oil, dan lainnya.

So, let’s check out the ingredients list. Here they are :

After looking at the ingredients list, i think it’s great, there are lots of natural oil and plants extract.

Setelah melihat kandungan bahan yang terdapat didalamnya, saya rasa kandungan di dalamnya cukup bagus, terdapat banyak kandungan minyak alami dan ekstrak tumbuh-tumbuhan. 

Okay, let’s move on to their claims.

Sekarang mari kita bicarakan tentang klaim dari produk ini.

So this product claim itself as moisturizing essence shower and i think it’s REALLY work as a moisturizer. It does make my skin feels SUPER SOFT after using it. And i give it like 5 stars out of 5 for its moisturizing function.

Produk ini diklaim sebagai moisturizing essence shower dan menurut saya, produk ini BENAR – BENAR bekerja sebagai pelembab. Berkat produk ini kulit saya terasa SANGAT HALUS setelah menggunakannya. Saya memberikan 5 bintang untuk fungsinya sebagai pelembab.

The other thing that i like is the packaging of this product. It comes in a pump version so it’s easy to use. The produc works great, especially if you use the soap on bathtub. It will give you super moisturizing bubble bath experience J and it comes in a quite big size, whic is 300ml. So you can use it for quite long, i guess.

Hal lainnya yang saya suka, yaitu pengemasan produk ini. Produk ini dikemas dalam bentuk pump sehingga mudah digunakan. Produk ini bekerja dengan baik, khususnya bila sabun ini digunakan untuk madi dengan bathtub sebab produk ini mengeluarkan busa yang cukup banyak. Terlebih lagi, produk ini memiliki ukuran yang cukup besar, yaitu 300ml sehingga dapat digunakan untuk jangka waktu yang cukup lama. 

However, in terms of the scent or frangrance, i’m not really fond of that.

Tetapi, dalam hal wanginya, saya kurang menyukainya.

It’s said that this product has 3 layers of scent like a perfume, which is top, middle and base. The first layer (top) scent is citrus fresh floral, the second layer is floral uti (idk exactly what it is because it’s written in hangul) and the 3rd layer is amber musk scent.

So far, i’ve been using it for a couple of days and i don’t feel like that layery stuff works, because when i take a bath, it smells like the herbs things. But the good thing is it doesn’t last long. The scent will be gone after the shower.

Dikatakan di boxnya bahwa produk ini memiliki 3 lapisan wangi, seperti yang biasa ditemui di produk wewangian seperti parfum, yaitu lapisan atas, tengah, dan dasar (bawah). Lapisan pertama dikatakan memiliki wangi bunga lemon segar, lapisan kedua memiliki wangi bunga uti (saya tidak tahu dengan jelas mengenai bunga ini karena saya hanya mencoba membaca dari box nya yang menggunakan tulisan hangul), dan lapisan ketiga, yaitu wangi amber musk.  

Sejauh ini, saya sudah menggunakan produk ini beberapa kalidan saya tidak merasakan lapisan wangi seperti yang disebutkan sebelumnya. Ketika saya mencoba produk ini, wanginya lebih terasa seperti herbs (tanaman herbal) gitu. Tapi hal bagusnya adalah wangi tersebut tidak bertahan lama. Wanginya akan hilang tidak lama setelah selesai mandi. 

So over all, i recommend this product for those who need a moisturizing stuff for their skin. It must be a perfect product for you. But if you’re looking for a liquid soap with a nice scent, i think you should try the other variant (The Jimmy one, in a blue package). I find a review about that product and the reviewer said that it has a nice scent on it.

Jadi kesimpulannya, saya merekomendasikan produk ini untuk kalian yang membutuhkan produk (sabun) pelembab kulit. Produk ini saya rasa sempurna untuk orang – orang yang membutuhkan sabun yang sangat – sangat melembabkan. Tetapi jika Anda mencari sabun cair yang memiliki wangi yang menyenangkan, saya rasa Anda harus mencoba variant yang lain, misalnya Ardente Jimmy yang berwarna biru. Saya membaca sebuah review tentang produk itu di IG dan menurut review tersebut, produk itu memiliki wangi yang menyenangkan.
