Chica Y Chico Skin Texture Toner VS J.ONE Moisturizing Beauty Water

I’m back with another products review.

This time I’ll review/compare two toners that I’ve been using for a couple of months.

#1 Chica Y Chico Texture Skin Toner

This toner is a water type toner that feels so lightweight.

It’s said :

“Skin texture toner hydrates the rough skin and give more elasticity with sliding water complex so that your skin looks even and moist. And it removes the excess sebum and waste deep inside clear up the dry flaky dead skin cells without irritation. Your skin becomes smoother and clearer with this toner”

This toner works super good on my skin and it does moisturize and give hydration to my skin. After using the toner, my face looks clearer and feels so clean. It doesn’t have any scent. The texture is 100% watery. I think this is a perfect toner to use if you want to do the 7 times toner layering method that is so popular in Korea these days.

The toner comes in a quite big bottle (the volume is 200ml and I think the price is not that expensive). And the ingredients is pretty good ( I can’t find the harmful ingredients on the list).

#2 J.ONE Moisturizing Beauty Water

This one comes in smaller bottle (140ml, the same price with the chica y chico)

This one claims to be re-hydrating and comforting toner for all skin type.

Actually, I’ve never heard of this toner from J.ONE line because the jelly pack seems to be the most well-known product from J.ONE.

But I decided to buy this toner and it works pretty good tho’.

This J.ONE toner has more concentrated texture compared to the Chica Y Chico. I must say that I prefer the watery texture by CyC, but this one is not bad either.

You can use the toner by using cotton pad or put it on your hands. It also perfect to be used as the 7 skin method toner. But it does have a quite strong scent, but it goes away after application. But watch out if you’re sensitive to fragrance.

Here are the summary of these two :

Chica Y Chico   

- watery 

- has no scent

- hydrates the skin well 

- smoothen the skin

- affordable  

J.ONE

- more concentrated texture

- has a quite strong scent

- drier than the CyC

So, i'm gonna say that both toners are great to use for the 7 skin method toner and they are quite moisturizing, but i have to say that i love CyC toner more.

Body Lotion Review

It’s been longtime since the last time I write a review here and I’m back!!!!

This time, I’ll be reviewing an Indonesian brand body lotion, named eternaleaf. It’s a body lotion made from pandanus conoideus (in the description it’s written ‘made with pure Red Papua fruit for naturally moisturized skin’)

I feel in love with the packaging of the product since the first time I saw it. It has orange and white colour on the flip flop bottle. It contains 250ml of the product inside and it claims to be ‘paraben free’, ‘parafin free’, ‘alcohol free’, ‘silicon free’, ‘not tested on animals’, ‘promote sustainable harvesting’, ‘100% vegetarian’, ‘supports proudly papua foundation’ (50% of your purchase will be given to build a better Papua)

Well, let’s start the review.

#1 Packaging

At the first sight, I like the packaging of the product. But after been using the product for a couple of months, I’m not happy with the flip flop bottle type, especially the aluminium or metal side of the bottle. It hurts my finger sometimes when I apply the product. I think it’s quite dangerous for some reason and hope the material will be changed in the future for its safety.

I also don’t like the flip flop bottle because I can’t get the right amount of the product. It happens to give a lot of the product sometimes, and some other time, it’s quite hard to get the product come off the bottle. You have to put down the bottle first to make the product come out.

Other than that, I feel happy with the simplicity of the product and the description of the product on it.

#2 Application

I’m happy with the product because it really makes my skin feel so moisturized and soft after using it. I just hope it contains some kind of ‘UV/SPF’ thing to block the sun damage (because I’m not sure if the product has this kind of thing in it. There’s no titanium dioxide or zinc dioxide like other body lotion).

The texture is like the other body lotion. It has a creamy body lotion type, if you know what I mean. And I think it does what it claims to be , which is to moisturize and to restore the dull and dry skin. It doesn’t have annoying scent for me. The good thing is it works well for my skin.
