Top 3 Innisfree Products

The 2019 has passed and i wish you a good year in 2020 :D

So, i'll start this year by introducing my favourite beauty products from INNISFREE, a Korean-brand that i love.

So, basicly, INNISFREE is a natural brand that focuses on beauty products, they have many lines for various skin concerns and the most well-know line are the Green Tea, the Jeju Volcanic, and the Orchid. As quoted from the site :

And based on what i learn, what differentiate Innisfree from the other brand is they take the resources mainly from Jeju Island. And Innisfree also claims that their products are eco-friendly. So, i really like the concept of this brand and this is one of the reason why i fall in love with this brand. 

Personally, i think Innisfree is a drug-store brand that has a good quality of product and i have tried some of their products. And i never experience any breakouts or problems while using Innisfree's product. Some products are really nice for my skin and the other that i've tried doesn't give me any bad effect, so it's just so so for me. 

And in this blog, i want to tell you the Top 3 Innisfree Products that i've been using and it gives me the very nice experience and i'd love to repurchase the products. Here are the products : 

1. Camellia Essential Hair Oil Serum 

Yup, eventho' Innisfree is very famous for their skincare, but i instantly fall in love to this Hair Oil from the first time i use it. 

It has a super nice scent and it makes my hair more easy to comb and it smoothens my hair texture and all the benefits to the hair. I really love this product. 

I bought this product from Innisfree Store in Jakarta and it only costs IDR 150.000,00. 

So, it's really worth the price in my opinion.

2. Innisfree Mists

So, Innisfree has a couple of products that can be functioned as face mist and i'm kinda love these products. Both of these products don't have any strong scent, so if you're sensitive to fragrance, you won't feel disturb by the mists.

I've tried these two products : Green Tea Mineral Mist and Aloe Revital Skin Mist. And i love both of the products. It has a super fine mists and i could feel that my face feel fresh and moist after using the spray.

The Green Tea Mineral Mist has 2 size, there are 50ml and 100ml. I love the 50ml because it's really travel friendly.  

As for the Aloe Revital Skin Mist, it's written that it's also possible to use as hydrating toner and i did try it as hydrating toner. It makes my face feel smooth and fresh and i'm so happy to use this mist. 

Eventho' the size is bigger than the Green Tea Mineral Mist, but it's not heavy at all and i can still bring it anywhere when i go. So, i can say that it's also travel friendly and i also love this product so much. 

I bought these mists at store and i think the price is around IDR 75000 to IDR 150000.( Unfortunately, I forgot the exact price of the product). 

3. Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask

Jeju Volcanic Mousse Mask

To be honest, the Volcanic line is one of the Innisfree line that i'm not a fan of. I've tried the Super and the famouse Jeju Volcanic mask before and i wasn't happy. 

So, to my surprise i bought this product and i feel happy about it. 

The texture is different with the other Volcanic Masks and it's not as dry as the other products from this line (FYI : I have a dry-combination skin) . 

So, this product has mousy texture (like its name) and it doesn't give me the very tight sensation after using it. It would be drying if i use it for long time (the instruction said that you can put the product 10 to 15 minutes, but i usually only put it on my face for 7 to 10 minutes). 

And the very good part about this product is, it cleanse my pores. After using it, i can tell the difference in my face (as it also works as mild exfoliator). My face looks brighter and clearer after using it and i'm so happy with the product. 

A bit downside (i don't know if it can be considered as the minus point, but the expiration date (after you open the cap is only 9 months). It's pretty short, so you'd better use it regularly, but NOT daily.
If i'm not mistaken, i bought this for IDR 225.000/below IDR 250.000. 

 So, that are the TOP 3 Products from Innsifree that i tried and make me fall in love. I'm still using some of Innsifree Products and if there is any update on the product that i love, i'll tell you later :D

Comparison review

INNISFREE CREAMMELLOW LIPSTICK (No. 8) VS THE FACE SHOP BLACK LABEL LIPSTICK (#437)

Kali ini saya akan memberikan opini saya tentang lipstick yang saya gunakan selama beberapa waktu nih. Nah karena ada 2 produk lipstick yang sekarang sedang saya sukai, jadi saya membuat semacam perbandingan antara kedua produk tersebut (meskipun produk ini berbeda shade dan merk sih).

#1 THE PACKAGING

Mari mulai dengan tampilan luar kedua lipstick ini. Menurut saya, kedua lipstick ini memilki tampilan yang serupa tapi beda. Lho,,,, maksudnya?? Jadi kedua lipstick ini memiliki packaging yang simple yet classic (for the innisfree) and simple yet elegant (for the face shop).

                           

Packaging innisfree creammellow lipstick ini super duper simple, yaitu berupa round shape lipstick (wadah lipstick berbentuk bundar) berwarna putih dengan bagian bawah yang menunjukkan warna lipstick tersebut. Di bagian luarnya sendiri gak ada macam – macam bentuk atau motif, hanya terdapat tulisan merk “innisfree”. Jadi kesan yang saya temukan ketika pertama kali melihat outer look innisfree lipstick ini adalah classic.

   

Sedangkan untuk the face shop lipstick (tfs lipstick), tampilannya juga simple, yaitu square shape lipstick (wadah lipstick berbentuk segi empat) dengan warna abu – abu metalik gitu. Tampilannya kelihatan cukup wahhhhhh klo menurut saya. Pada bagian atas tutup listick, terdapat tulisan “THE FACE SHOP” dan di bagian bawahnya ada tulisan shade lipstick tersebut, beserta tanggal kadaluarsa.

  

O ya, untuk lipstik innisfree, ia datang dengan cute box yang diprint menggunakan soy ink gitu (jadi produk ini sangat ramah lingkungan sekali). Sedangkan untuk lipstik tfs, ia tidak memiliki box. Ketika tiba, lipstick ini hanya dibungkus dengan plastik bening yang terdapat tulisan shade dan tulisan mengenai keterangan lipstik dalam bahasa Korea.

Soooo, for the packaging sebenarnya menurut saya keduanya imbang dan memiliki style nya masing – masing. Tergantung kesukaan masing – masing pribadi sih. Tetapi karena innisfree lipstick comes with a pretty and natural box, saya memberi penilaian lebih untuk innisfree di bagian ini J

Final result for packaging :

-         Innisfree Creammellow Lipstick                     : 4.5 dari 5 bintang

-         The Face Shop Black Label Lipstick              :  4.2 dari 5 bintang

#2 SHADES AVAILABLE

Kedua lipstick ini memiliki cukup banyak varian, innisfree creammellow lipstick ini terdiri dari 10 macam shades yang bisa kalian pilih, sedangkan untuk tfs lipstick hadir dengan 10 varian juga. Wahhhhhhh...... kedua nya imbang nih di sektor shades available J

 

#3 LIPSTICKS SHAPE & APPLICATION

Lisptick shape di sini maksudnya adalah bentuk lipstick ini sendiri. Sekarang kan terdapat banyak sekali berbagai rupa bentuk lipstick, seperti bulat, kotak, runcing, bahkan merk Laneige mengeluarkan suatu inovasi baru berupa lip stamps yang unik sekali J.

 Inilah foto saya ketika menggunakan tfs Black Label Lipstick #437 :

Innisfree lipstick sendiri hadir dengan lipstik bentuk bulat, yang honestly, untuk saya pribadi yang tidak terbiasa menggunakan lipstick (without applicator) cukup tidak mudah. Saya sering mengalami keluar garis gitu waktu mengaplikasikan lipstik ini.

Selain itu lipstick ini memiliki tekstur yang glossy and creamy (like its name). Dan sebagai tambahan lipstik ini tidak memiliki aroma yang mengganggu. Wanginya herbal khas innisfree gitu klo menurut orang – orang J

Sedangkan untuk tfs lipstick, ia hadir dengan bentuk meruncing sehingga menurut saya lebih mudah untuk diaplikasikan ke bibir.  Selain itu lipstick ini juga memiliki tekstur yang glossy and glittery. Dan tfs lipstik ini memiliki sedikit aroma yang, saya sih suka yaaaa, fruity scent gitu, mungkin semacam anggur atau idk if it’s winey scent because i’ve never drink wine before.

Hal yang saya sukai dari kedua lipstick ini, yaitu lipstick ini tidak membuat bibir saya kering seperti lipstick pada umumnya. (At least, tidak seperti satu jenis lipstick yang pernah saya coba sebelumnya berinisial N**).

Dan hal yang kurang disukai dari keduanya, yakni kedua lipstik ini mudah sekali berpindah ke medium lain (yes, it does transfer). And it’s easily removed as well.

Jadi untuk bagian ini, saya memberikan penilaian yang sedikit lebih baik untuk tfs lipstick sebab ia lebih mudah diaplikasikan (menurut saya),

The final result :

-         Innisfree Creammellow Lipstick : 3.8 out of 5 stars

-         The Face Shop Black Label Lipstick : 4.0 out of 5 stars

#4 INGREDIENTS

Well, untuk bagian ingredients sendiri sebenarnya saya tidak dapat membahasnya terlalu banyak sebab saya tidak mendapatkan informasi yang cukup mengenai bahan – bahan dari tfs lipstick.

Kalau untuk innisfree sih bagian ingredients ini lolos dengan sukses J. Di pantau melalui situs CosDna sendiri, hanya satu ingedients yang berwarna kuning denga skor 3, yakni yellow 5.

	#5 LONG LASTING ABILITY  Untuk bagian ini, saya harus mengatakan bahwa keduanya memiliki poor or may be medium long lasting ability. Lipstick ini (mungkin) akan bertahan 5 hingga 6 jam, tetapi jika disertai makan&minum lipstik ini hanya akan bertahan 2 hingga 3 jam. So, for me it doesn’t last for that long. Final Result : -         Innisfree Creammellow Lipstick : 2.5 out of 5 stars -         The Face Shop 2.5 out of 5 stars #6 FINAL OPINION Jadi pendapat akhir saya mengenai kedua lipstik ini adalah...... I LOVE THEM BOTH. If i have to choose one, then i’m abstain lollllll *peace* Tapi menurut saya, lipstik innisfree memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik. Sepertinya tekstur dan warna bibir saya jadi meningkat setelah menggunakan lipstik tersebut. Dan rasanya pun sangat baik ketika digunakan.   Sedangkan hal positif yang dimiliki oleh tfs lipstik, yakni mudah untuk diaplikasikan dibanding lipstik innidsfree (it’s my personal opinion lhooooo J). Dan ketika diaplikasikan warnanya lebih nampak gitu. Soalnya entah kenapa lipstik innisfree yang seharusnya berwarna merah menyala tidak berwarna demikian di bibir saya L So, finally it’s all my opinion and comparison about the lipsticks. Innisfree Canola Honey Recipe Pack Review

Kali ini saya akan mereview ‘Innisfree Canola Honey Recipe Pack’ J

  

Recipe pack ini merupakan semacam sample version gitu. Sepertinya tersedia versi yang lebih besarnya, karena recipe pack ini hanya berukuran 10ml. Berdasarkan review – review yang saya baca sebelumnya, recipe pack ini bisa digunakan sebanyak 3 – 4 kali pemakaian lhoooo.

Jadi, recipe pack ini adalah masker dan terdapat berbagai macam varian. Katanya sih biasanya produk recipe pack itu dijadikan tester sebelum membeli versi yang lebih besarnya. Klo cocok, bisa dibeli versi aslinya, klo gak cocok, cari varian lain yang lebih cocok donkkk :B

Menurut keterangan yang saya baca di Althea Korea, Canola Honey ini kaya akan flavonoids dan protein sehingga baik untuk kekencangan dan elastisitas kulit. Selain itu, canola honey ini juga bermanfaat unuk melembapkan kulit sehingga kulit gak tersa kering.

Recipe Pack's Purpose on Althea Korea

Setelah dua kali menggunakan Innisfree Canola Honey Recipe Pack ini saya merasa cukup puas dengan hasilnya. Sebab setelah menggunakan produk tersebut, kulit saya terasa lebih kenyal dan lembut. Selain itu kulit saya juga tampak lebih cerah bercahaya seperti matahari di pagi hari :DDDD

So far, saya merasa recipe pack ini sihhhh worth to buy. Mungkin klo ada versi yang lebih besarnya juga saya tertarik untuk membelinya.

Meskipun saya tertarik membeli kembali produk ini, tapi saya juga masih tetap suka dan ingin mencoba varian – varian masker lainnya J baik dari Innisfree atau brand lain, seperti yang sedang hits sekarang itu two step masker dari Blossom Jeju.

O ya, hal yang saya kurang sukai dari canola honey pack ini adalah stickiness yang saya rasakan saat mengaplikasikan pack nya, barangkali karena berbahan dasar madu jadi teksturnya benar – benar lengket seperti madu gitu. Selain itu aroma madunya juga cukup kuat sihhh. Tetapi packnya sendiri mudah untuk dibersihkan dan setelah penggunaan packnya terbukti sih kulit terasa kencand dan elastis gitu J

Soooo, i give this pack 3.5 out of 5 stars.

It’s really worth to buy meskipun kalau saya sebenarnya lebih suka sheet mask nya Innisfree sih (i can’t move on from the sheet mask, i love it sooooo sooooo bad J)

Innisfree Aloe Soothing Gel Review

I’m currently using Innisfree Aloe Vera Soothing Gel. It came in a very big green tube of 300ml. I bought it on Althea Korea. I don’t exactly know why i bought it. I just saw a lot of Soothing gel reviews and i find that one. I decided to give it a try because a soothing gel is like a multi task item. With that, you can use it as a moisturizer, mask, sleeping pack, hair pack.

I tried it and at first, i don’t really feel anything (any effect) of the soothing gel. I thought it’s just an ordinary gel. It has no scent (sometimes, i smell a slight scent of aloe). The scent is not as strong as the Nature Republic one. Personally, I prefer the Innisfree.

After a few minutes, my first impression changed. I kinda love it because it did soothe my skin. My skin felt really moist and it felt so great. I use it as moisturizer sometimes and to soothe my scars. I hope the scar will get better or gone if i use it regularly.

The only thing that i don’t really like about this soothing gel is because it contains phenoxyethanol. As i mentioned in my previous post about Tony Moly Panda Sleeping Pack, phenoxyethanol is a preservative. And lots of “natural-based brand” use that for the replacement of parabean. I did some research about that and i don’t find a really great review about that. So, i’m not happy about product with phenoxyethanol. I even think that my body prefers parabean over phenoxyethanol. Both ingredients are not approved by Ecocert and i don’t like this fact either.

I’m really concerned about the ingredients in my products (food or skincare) because it goes on to our blood stream and if we consume a bad things, it will give a bad effect for our health. Back to the phenoxyethanol matters, in Japan and EU, this thing is allowed in condition that it’s used under 1%. But as we use lots of products regularly, the total amounts of this can increase. And that’s not a good thing i think.

So, i love this product because it does soothe my skin and i’ll see if it really works for my scars (i’ll give you an update about this in the future). But i’m interested to try on another brand called “Aromatica” if i run out of this product. Because that one is Ecocert-certified and i’d like to inform you about the difference effect after using it.

*Update info : it can't be used to diminish my scars, but we can use it as a first aid for a little wound we get when we use tight sandals or something like that.. it makes the recovery faster. 

So, that’s all for me about Innisfree Aloe Soothing Gel.

Beauty Product Review :

Innisfree (it’s real squeeze mask) – Shea Butter

This time, i’ll do a review about one of Korean popular brand, Innisfree. Actually, it’s my first time doing this kind of thing, so I hope you’ll enjoy this Blog.

Innisfree is a South Korean brand, well-known for its eco-friendly products (this is the reason why I really really want to try Innisfree’s products). Innisfree is created in 2000 by Amore Pacific[i] and they guarantee the natural ingredients for their products. It’s certified by France's ECOCERT organization[ii]

I bought this Innisfree mask via online shopping app, and even though I think the price it’s quite high, compared if I see the price in Instagram, but I’m quite satisfied with the product. In Korea, this product’s price is $1.xx - $2.

The ingredients of this mask is : Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, PEG-100 Stearate, Carbomer, Shea Butter(20mg), Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Hyaluronate, Prickly Pear Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, The green Tea Extract, Orchid Extract, Tangerine Peel Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

First, this mask has a very decent smell of perfume, so while I was using it, the scent is really good and relaxing. Inside of the package is just a simple white mask. For me, the size of the mask is quite big for my face. But it’s not a big deal. You can adjust the mask so it will fit your face.

Then, when I used the mask, I felt like a burning sensation in my face (idk if other people who used this mask feel this sensation too), but it’s not a big deal b’cause nothing happens to my face before or after using the mask.  

And finally, the result after using this mask is soooooooo amazing. I feel the moist and the good feeling after using it. Like i felt better, relaxed and fresh. I think my face also got brighter. So, I’d like to say that I had a very good experience and I enjoy using this mask so mask and I recommend you to use this and try another variants of Innisfree Mask because I really like to do so, too. I’ll give 4 stars out of 5 for this product.

After using the mask, the rest cream will stay on your face, you can use that to cover your face and let it for a night. And don’t forget to wash your face in the morning ;)

I’m really sorry because I don’t attach my photos while I using the mask, may be next time in next review i’ll do it J
